Creek Crossing RV Park

We left Tiger Safari in Oklahoma and as soon as we were heading out, the Harvest Host we were heading to canceled. Okay. Normally, that would be fine, but this is the weekend after Thanksgiving and everything in the area was booked. I called an RV Park for the third time and the woman answered and said that they were full, but then she put me on hold and then... told me a spot did become available. Yay! We had a spot at Creek Crossing RV Park from Friday to Sunday with a free late checkout!

How do you fix a sliding door? I have no idea. Michael got this door off of our back bathroom and eventually fixed it. He rocks the RV!

After setting up the RV, the kids watched a movie and ate pizza. Michael and I went on a date! Caleb and Asher gave Michael a birthday present of money specifically for a date with me! (Bonus!) That is so adorably sweet! We asked my cousin Genea for some good Texas restaurant ideas and she recommended Spring Creek BBQ.

First, we stopped by Home Depot to get a flexible elbow piece for the drill to fix the back bathroom's sliding door (again.) Next, Genea met us at the restaurant and we hugged! It was so good to see, talk and laugh together! The food was delicious! We had TX brisket, pulled pork, sausages, huge baked potatoes, french fries and root beer! I had such a great time!

On Saturday, we got ready and went to my Aunt Len's house. Jordan got up early and cut up apples for a baked cinnamon apple recipe. It didn't taste right; so we tossed that batch and started again with skinned, and newer apples. They were really good!

While the apples were cooking, Genea came in for a tour of the RV. I made some mac and cheese and brought the chocolate leaves from the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Factory. Genea brought two rotisserie chickens, some gluten free cheesecake and put a can of cranberry sauce on top of cream cheese. We brought it over to Aunt Len's house. She was so excited to meet and hug the kids. We had a very nice meal together!

Genea is so talented! She taught her bird to poop when she holds him over the trash can and says "Bombs away!"

Later that night, we met Matt, Genea's kind and loving husband. It was great to hang out with both of them at their nice home. The boys played video games and the girls enjoyed their pets (2 birds, 2 dogs, and 2 cats) and each other!

The next day, Genea took off work to come with us to Aunt Len's church. We joined the church for a potluck afterwards and then said our good-byes.

On the way home, we stopped at the Dude Perfect headquarters. Unfortunately, no one was there, but it was still cool to be by their famous warehouse that we have seen many times on their YouTube channel.
